RFP for the Construction of the Addition to the Tifton Museum of Arts and Heritage

The Downtown Development Authority of the City of Tifton (DDA) is accepting Sealed Proposals from Licensed General Contractors for the Construction of an Addition to the Tifton Museum of Arts and Heritage. Sealed Proposals will be accepted by the Downtown Development Authority until February 19, 2026, 2:00 PM, at the DDA Office located at 220 E. 2nd Street, Suite B, Tifton, GA 31794, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Sealed Proposals must be clearly marked and delivered by mail or hand delivery prior to the RFP deadline. Faxed and emailed proposals will not be considered. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on January 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., local prevailing time at the Tifton Arts Museum, 255 Love Ave., Tifton, GA, 31794. Proposals submitted by General Contractors who do not attend the mandatory pre-proposal conference will not be considered.

Official Proposal Documents, including addenda, are available in printed form (whole complete sets only) from Print Life Printing, LLC, (PLP) 1006 Williams Street, Valdosta, Georgia, 31601, telephone No.: 229-244-5598, fax No.: 229-241-1410, email: info@printlifevaldosta.com, for a non-refundable cost of $300.00 per set including regular ground shipment. PLP will also issue addenda, by regular mail, to each entity receiving Proposal Documents from PLP.

The DDA shall have the authority to reject all bids or any bid or proposal that is nonresponsive or not responsible and to waive any technicalities and informalities.
