RFP for Professional Services for the Non-Infrastructure Component of the West Linda Safe Routes to School Project

The County of Yuba is accepting proposals for professional services for the non-infrastructure component of the West Linda Safe Routes to School Project. These services shall commence after the County of Yuba approves a contract.

This is a State-Only funded project. This will be a price plus fixed-fee, project-specific contract. Please see the attached Sample Cost Proposal Exhibit to be used in the separately sealed fee proposal.

The County is in the process of delivering a Safe Routes to School project for the community of West Linda which would improve Arboga Road, Jay Street, Alicia Avenue, Grand Avenue, Vine Avenue, Feather River Boulevard, and Cottonwood Avenue. The project includes both infrastructure and non-infrastructure components. The County is soliciting proposals from consultants to assist with the non-infrastructure component of this project. The non-infrastructure component will include various surveys to students/parents/residents, educational programs to Cedar Elementary School and New Life Christian School . Students will be educated on safe walking and bicycling practices. Students will also be encouraged to walk or bike through walk and bike to school days, skills education, and other incentives.
