The City of Bryant is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide Professional Auditing and Tax Services for the City’s governmental and business-type activities. This contract will support the preparation of financial audits and reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and state and federal guidelines, with the goal of producing a unified Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).

Services include—but are not limited to—annual audits, preparation of financial reports, federal grant compliance (when applicable), and tax form submissions such as 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, and 1099-S.

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Firm qualifications, experience, and competence

• Proposed method of conducting the audit

• Capacity and availability of staff

• Cost of services

This contract is intended to span a five-year period with annual renewals. Firms must be licensed in the State of Arkansas and demonstrate independence and adherence to audit quality standards. Interim fieldwork and previous ACFR experience are preferred.
