Description
Project Description: The Port is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified microgrid companies (“Proposers”) to provide turnkey development, design, construction, ownership, operations, maintenance, and transfer of a new resilient pilot microgrid with the capability of supplying up to 3-5 Mega Watts to supply docked cargo ship. Specifcally, a Ro-Ro cargo ship at berth during operations, thereby providing a microgrid solution consistent with the Port Authority Studies & Pilot Projects Grant Program (PASPP – attached), as administered by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
