RFP for Behavioral Health Program Administration

San Miguel County, Colorado ("County") on behalf of its Behavioral Health Advisory Panel is seeking proposals from qualified professional consulting firms or qualified individuals to provide for administration if the County's behavioral health programs.

Activities under this proposal include programming, marketing, budget and fiscal management in conjunction with the County’s finance department, administrative efforts including meeting organization, publication, management, minute taking, public posting, website management; billing administration for therapy claims including eligibility evaluation, verification and approval for payment; hiring and management of a specialist to provide as a “behavioral health systems navigator” to aid in navigation of various programs provided herein and otherwise within San Miguel County and other activities.

The contract will have a two-year duration subject to annual appropriation with an optional renewal for an additional one-year term. Preference will be given to organizations located within the County. The successful bidder must be able to assume the duties specified within this scope of work by January 1, 2025. Consultants are invited to submit proposals until 3:00 PM MST, on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.

The proposed schedule for the Consultant selection is as follows:

• Inquiry Response deadline October 21, 2024
• Notification of Selection (Tentative) November 28,2024
• Contract (Tentative) December 13, 2024
