RFP for a Construction Manager / General Contractor Renovation Project SDL-VA.LAB2025 CM/GC in Stafford Virginia.
Utah State University Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is requesting proposals for Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) services for pre-construction and construction services necessary for renovating a ~700 sq/ft laboratory in a commercial building in Stafford, Virginia. The solicitation package, including acquisition schedule, proposal instruction, project description, and evaluation criteria will be available upon request starting March 31, 2025. Requests must be submitted by email to Rich McKinnon at rich.mckinnon@sdl.usu.edu. No others are to be contacted regarding this solicitation. Prior to obtaining solicitation documents, interested companies must execute the project-specific NDA, which will be provided by the Contracts Administrator. A notice of intent to propose must be emailed to Rich McKinnon at rich.mckinnon@sdl.usu.edu by April 14, 2025. The notice of intent is required in order to obtain instructions for and participate in the mandatory, onsite pre-submittal meeting to be convened on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM (local). All companies intending to submit on this project must have a representative in attendance. The purpose of the work restricts the distribution of this solicitation, and the Contracts Administrator will not release copies to ancillary companies (e.g., advertising, design services, subcontract/specialty services, etc.). The selection will be under the Value Based Selection method. |
