Project Description: Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is seeking proposals from experienced organizations to deliver extended learning opportunities for students in grades K5-12. These programs are designed to support academic achievement, personal growth, and skill development through a comprehensive mix of academic enrichment, career exploration, and hands-on, experiential learning activities. The initiatives will take place during non-school hours—such as summer, school breaks, evenings, and weekends—and may be offered at school locations or off-site venues. Key areas of focus for these programs include, but are not limited to, academic enrichment, the arts, career readiness, gardening, outdoor education, social-emotional learning, STEM, robotics, and other experiential learning initiatives that cultivate essential life skills.
MPS is seeking innovative partners capable of providing dynamic, engaging programming that not only accelerates student learning but also nurtures personal development, fosters resilience, and empowers students to succeed both academically and in life. Proposals should offer a balanced mix of activities that meet the diverse needs of the student population and contribute to their overall growth and success.
