Solicitation Summary
The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the City of Rockville to obtain proposals from qualified Executive Search Firms interested in assisting the City Manager with the recruitment of the Chief of Police position. The City intends to award a contract to a firm that has the ability to design an effective Chief of Police recruitment process, oversee nationwide searches, target qualified candidates, and assist with screening and interviewing candidates. The contract awarded will be dependent upon the quality of proposals received. The selected firm will work with and assist the current City Manager in designing the recruitment process.
