RFP - Environmental Services - Project Monitor Air Monitoring and Asbestos Regulatory Compliance, Multi-Site Demolition Project
Description:

This RFP pertains to the services of an independent environmental firm to act as a Project Monitor undertake air monitoring and all other services as required to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Air monitoring shall be conducted by the Project Monitor to ensure that the demolition contractor is complying with EPA, New York State and any applicable local government regulations, all appropriate applicable variances and any pertinent site-specific variance petition decisions. Air monitoring shall be conducted according to the method prescribed by 29 CFR 1926.1101 - Appendix A; 40 CFR 763 Subpart E - Appendix A; New York State Industrial Code Rule 56 and all appropriate applicable variances and any pertinent site-specific variance petition decisions. The selected firm will also be responsible for preparing and/or updating DOL variances as required to complete the project. The City of Amsterdam has a blanket variance issued by the New York State Department of Labor. However, this variance may not apply to the proposed demolition project, and individual DOL variances may be required for each demolition site.

The Project Monitor shall furnish all labor, materials and pay associated costs for complying with all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations including, but not limited to:
