Sealed Proposals for 2025 ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION R/W MAINTENANCE for the BOARD OF WATER, LIGHT AND SINKING FUND COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF DALTON, GEORGIA D/B/A DALTON UTILITIES (¿Owner¿) will be received in the Auditorium of the Dalton Utilities¿ Administration Building at 1200 V.D. Parrott Jr. Parkway at 10:00 A.M. local time Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. If submitting by mail send sealed bids to PO Box 869 Dalton, GA 30722; Attention: David Keaton

Work Scope: The project will consist of, but is not limited to, a contract that will be signed on or about, Monday, April 21, 2025 after the bids have been reviewed and evaluated. Official contract start date will be Monday, April 28, 2025 and will continue through December 31, 2025. Work will include forty (40) hours a week labor, excluding holidays and inclement weather. Contractor will be responsible for having equipment and tools required for the R/W maintenance of overhead electric distribution lines. Consisting of, but not limited to trimming and removal of trees, brush, vines, and hedges that may interfere with electric distribution lines and associated equipment, communication lines, and street lights. Contractor will be expected to work safely around 7,200/12,470 and 14,400/24,940 primary voltage and 120-480 secondary voltage.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
¿        All work must be performed in accordance with Dalton Utilities¿ Standard Specifications.
¿        Contractor will provide Dalton Utilities with a copy of their DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Plan along with access to any documentation necessary for compliance with applicable federal or state regulatory requirements prior to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for Dalton Utilities¿ review.
¿        A preconstruction meetings will be held at Dalton Utilities prior to beginning field work.
¿        The Contractor shall provide a 1 year warranty on all work performed.
