The County of Bedford, Virginia Economic Development Authority is seeking proposals from one fully qualified engineering firm to provide design and support services for Meade Road improvements at the New London Business & Technology Center located at US Route 460 and Meade Road in Bedford County, VA. Work includes, but is not limited to, Meade Road extension, access improvements at US Route 460 and Meade Road (R-cut concept with traffic signal warrant for future consideration), and reconfiguration of roundabout to accommodate tractor trailer movements. Bedford County was awarded a VDOT Economic Access design grant to perform the project.
