  The Office of the County Executive (OCE) is soliciting proposals from a qualified consultant to conduct an organizational, and operational assessment of the Marin Housing Authority (A Non-County Department), Community Development Agency, Department of Public Works and to develop a scope of work to extend the assessment to all County departments in the future. The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate the current departmental structure and to provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency, and effectiveness, in alignment with Board priorities. Furthermore, given the limited resources and competing needs, as well as a variety of new and emerging issues impacting our residents and operations, it is imperative to provide quality County services in the most efficient, cost-effective manner. Additionally, the County is committed to ensuring that the advancement of racial equity is applied to resource allocation and programmatic decision-making processes throughout the organization and must be a component of our organizational design studies moving forward.
