RFP-Communications Leases at the Humboldt County Courthouse and Fairgrounds

The County of Humboldt (“County”), by and through its Department of Public Works – Facilities Management Division, is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to retain proposals for communications facilities to lease at two County locations. The first location will be one (1) wireless communications tower facility and related equipment room. The Courthouse site has been leased since 2009 and has existing communications towers sited upon it. This location is on the Fifth Floor of the Humboldt County Courthouse.

The second location will be at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in the City of Ferndale. This will be for the installation and operation of telecommunication services. The proposed installation will help to improve cellular communications, especially coverage within the Ferndale area. A public benefit would be to further the communication capabilities of the county in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency. The Successful Proposer must have the ability to provide qualified Services equivalent to those set forth in this RFP. This RFP is a non-binding solicitation and may be canceled by the County at any time.
