General:
This addendum will form a part of the RFP and modifies the original Request for Proposal (RFP)
document. The following changes take precedence over items in the RFP. Any portion of the
RFP not changed by this Addendum remains in effect. Recipients of the Addendum are advised
to provide this Addendum to anyone to whom they further distribute without the BAA’s
knowledge.
Participants in this RFP are required to acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in their proposal.
Failure to do so may subject Proposer for disqualification.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/CLARIFICATIONS/DESCRIBED BELOW:
1. Question: Can BAA please provide the design drawings and specifications for the four (4) oil water
separators?
Answer: No. Unfortunately, the requested information is not available.
2. Question: Can BAA please provide the specifications for the filter packs/media (OEM or equivalent)
that require replacement?
Answer: No. Unfortunately, the requested information is not available.
3. Question: When were the oil water separators last cleaned? Other than the one vessel cleaned in 2012
by One Stop Environmental 3000 gallons under ADEM approval.
Answer: Unknown
4. Question: Since this the last disposal in 2012, has BAA used any AFFF fire retardant foam or similar
material? If so what type? As part of the waste characterization process for this RFP. The waste could
be characterized as Nonhazardous but contains PFAS compound which could be rejected by local
landfill? Would BAA be sent to Hazardous Waste Landfill for proper management?
Answer: Negative, no AFFF has been used. N/A. Negative, this is non-hazardous. N/A, no
waste would need to be sent to a hazardous waste landfill.
5. Question: In the RFP page 9 paragraph iv Cost Proposal: “: Provide the proposed cost to complete
the scope of work on an annual basis in a lump sum format.” Is this RFP for a one time clean out or
for an annual basis?
Answer: One time clean
6. Question: Due to the lack of information provided to Action. Action approach is to the information
acquired from the initial site investigation for this scope of work to prepare an estimate based on
assumptions made for this RFP. Action is requesting an additional week to prepare estimate for this
RFP.
Answer: Yes, the due date will be January 20, 2026, at 2:00PM.
