RFP 2026-05 Bryant Commons Entrance Improvements

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Hinesville located at City Hall, 115 East

ML King Jr Drive on April 28, 2026 until 2:00 (p.m) local time for Bryant Commons Entrance

Improvements.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor and materials to complete the

Bryant Commons Entrance Improvements. More specifically, the project will consist of 500 LF

30” Curb & Gutter, 900 SY, Asphalt Pavement, 175 S.Y, Sidewalk plus associated improvements.

Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents are open to public inspection at the

Hinesville City Hall, 115 East ML King Jr Drive, Dodge Data and Analytics, ConstructConnect,

and Construction Network, and P.C. Simonton Engineering, LLC, Greensboro, GA 30642,

Georgia. Copies of the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be obtained by

contacting P.C. Simonton Engineering. LLC., 1050 Parkside Commons, S101, Greensboro,

Georgia 30642, (706) 454-0870, via email admin@simontoneng.com, by depositing a non-

refundable Fifty Dollar ($50.00) for electronic (PDF) set of plans and One Hundred Fifty Dollar

($150.00) for each set of printed plans requested.

Each Contractor must prequalify for bid by submitting a completed "Statement of Bidder

Qualifications" form supplied by the Engineer. Bids will be accepted from prequalified bidders

only.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least

five percent (5%) of total amount bid for the completed work.

No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the closing time schedule

for receipt of bids.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

Award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Hinesville City Hall, 115 East M.L. King,

Jr. Drive, Hinesville, Georgia on April 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm.

The M/WBE goal for this project is 4% MBE and 4% WBE, for a total M/WBE participation

of 8%. All M/WBE documents must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope, otherwise

bid may be rejected.

NOTE:

Plans and Specifications must be obtained no later than five (5) working

days before the bid date. No exceptions.
