RFP ? Blue Cross Arena Lobby Floor Replacement Project No. 23014

Description

The City of Rochester, Department of Environmental Services, Architectural Services division, is soliciting proposal for professional services from consultants having experience with flooring replacement systems.

The Blue Cross Arena was constructed in 1953 with a major renovation and expansion completed in 1998. The 270,000 square foot arena is home to several professional athletic teams, including, the Rochester Americans (Amerks) of the American Hockey League and the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League. The arena also hosts a variety of other events including athletic events, concerts, and graduations. In 2018, Pegula Sports & Entertainment LLC (PSE) became the operator for events at the arena.

The project scope will include investigations, design, bid and construction administration services for replacement of existing floor tile in the main entrance lobby (Arena Level - Northwest), Stairs to the concourse level and the North and South ends of the concourse level. The replacement of the recessed floor mats in the main entry vestibule will also be included as part of the project.

Pre-Proposal Meeting

A pre-proposal meeting for interested consultants will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 23, 2023 at Blue Cross Arena, 100 Exchange Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14614 (S outhwest Riverside entrance) . Paid parking is available at nearby lots/garages and on-street parking. Meet at the lobby entrance.
