RFP #26-0121 - BIDS FROM GENERAL CONTRACTORS, MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS, HVAC & ROOFING SUBCONTRACTORS

The Clarke County School District is inviting bids from prequalified Contractors for the following HVAC & Roofing project:

Clarke Central Gym HVAC & Roofing replacement project LBP 225034

Competitive Cost Sealed Bids will be received by the Clarke County School District in the SPLOST Office located at 145 Paradise Blvd., Athens, Georgia, 30607, until 11:00 AM on January 21, 2026.

Bidding documents may be reviewed by interested bidders at the office of the Architect, Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield and Assocs. Inc., 344 West Pike Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Upon request by Prequalified Bidders, documents may be obtained electronically by email: biddocs@lpbatlanta.com. Bidders will be given access to the Drawings and Specifications via a Dropbox link at no charge. Documents may also be accessed by Subcontractors or Material Suppliers. Subject of email to read: RFP #26-0121, Clarke Central Gym HVAC & Roofing Replacement Project.

All interested bidders will be required to submit the following criteria for qualification, including AIA Document A305-2020 Contractor Qualification Statement (with exhibits) to be evaluated by the Owner and Engineer prior to being issued Plans and specifications. The A305-2020 document must show the Contractor¿s ability to complete the Contract in a satisfactory manner on projects of similar scope and complexity. This prequalification statement must be submitted and received by the Architect no later than Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

A mandatory Pre-Proposal conference will be held at the Clarke County School District, District Services Building Nutrition conference room on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at 10:00AM.

The contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Request for Proposal and Bid Specifications. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
