RFP 2026-06 – Asbestos Abatement at Thompson K-8 International Academy

Southfield Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for the above-referenced project. Bids are due

Thursday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. and will be opened at 11:05 A.M. No late bids will be

accepted. Bids must be submitted via BidNet Direct www.bidnetdirect.com//southfield-public-schools.

No physical packets will be accepted. Bid documents will be available beginning Monday, February 16,

2026, at 5:00 P.M. through Bidnet Direct and/or www.southfieldk12.org. Bids must include the

following required documentation:

• Familial Disclosure Statement (MCL 380.1267)

• Iran-Linked Business Certification (Public Act 517 of 2012)

• Bid Bond equal to 5% of the base bid

For projects exceeding $50,000, the successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance

and Payment Bonds in accordance with Michigan law. Southfield Public Schools reserves the right to

reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive informalities in bidding. Surety must be in

Michigan.
