The Monroe County School District, Florida, is seeking proposals for a comprehensive contract for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of auditorium stage rigging systems located districtwide in our High Schools. This includes the servicing of fire curtains and smoke hatches. Inspections must adhere to ANSI E1.47 standards concerning entertainment rigging system inspections as outlined in Appendix A. The successful contractor will provide labor, equipment, and materials essential for fulfilling the requirements of this project, ensuring a complete turnkey solution to inspect and repair the district’s stage rigging systems. It is necessary for the contractor to include costs related to any additional rental equipment, such as lifts, in their pricing proposal. Notably, this contract does not cover re-treatment of the curtains for fireproofing purposes.
