Scope of Services
Provide underground utility work in theNSBU’s water, wastewater and reclaimed water distribution system. This work shall include new construction and repair & rehabilitation of existing water, wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure within NSBU’s service territory.
Provide pipe, pump and other mechanical work at the NSBU Water and Wastewater facilities, including but not limited to raw water wells, sewer lift stations, water and wastewater treatment plants and water pump stations.
Contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years in business for this type of work.
This scope of work encompasses two types of work: 1) Emergency Work and 2) Planned Work. Contractor shall provide insurance, tools, materials, labor, equipment and supervision to perform all work necessary to ensure the utility is operating and functioning as its intended use. Material supplies will depend on the type of work required. Work shall adhere to the NSBU’s Rules, Design and Construction Specifications, current edition.
The NSBU may award contract to multiple contractors, dependent on the number of proposals submitted. Contractors selected will be ranked based on evaluation scores. For example, if four contractors are selected, the Contractor ranked with the highest evaluation score will be listed as Contractor #1, and so forth.
Contract will be for one (1) year with an option to extend three additional one-year periods. Price escalation/de-escalation will be permitted at the end of each one-year term upon mutual agreement in writing prior to the end of contract term.
