REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (“RFP”) OF FINANCIAL TRANSACTION DEVICE ACCEPTANCE AND PROCESSING SERVICES TO THE STATE OF OHIO

On November 12, 2025, the Ohio Treasurer of State’s Office (“Treasurer’s Office”), as administrative agent for the Ohio Board of Deposit (“BOD), will issue a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for the award of financial transaction device acceptance and processing services, commonly known as merchant services, to the State of Ohio for a period of up to four years and anticipated to commence on May 1, 2026 and end on April 30, 2030 (“Designation Period”). The RFP will be available by direct request. Any interested party who wishes to receive the RFP must submit a written request to the Treasurer’s Office via email at ohiobod@tos.ohio.gov beginning at 11:00 AM ET on November 12, 2025. Proposals must be received by the Treasurer’s Office no later than 3:00 PM ET on December 10, 2025. Any responses received after the submission deadline will be rejected. On or before January 31, 2026, the Board of Deposit will award financial transaction device acceptance and processing services for the Designation Period.
