RFP-Allegany Co. Dept. of Planning & Zoning Update of the 2014 Allegany County Comprehensive Plan

The County Commissioners of Allegany County will accept sealed proposals from qualified consultants for a complete update fo the Allegany County Comprehensive Plan. Interested consultants are encouraged to attend a pre-proposal meeting on February 18, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Planning and Zoning conference room at 701 Kelly Road, Room 106, Cumberland, MD 21502.

All questions from Interested Consultants that do (or do not) attend the pre-proposal meeting shall be made in writing and submitted to the Planning Staff by 2:00 pm on February 19, 2025 to be addressed, and the response will be provided to all Interested Consultant's. Addendums to the Request for Proposals, resulting from an Interested Consultant's substantive question, shall be provided to all Interested Consultants.

Proposals shall be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners, 701 Kelly Road, Cumberland, MD 21502, no later than 1:00 pm on March 12, 2025. Envelopes shall be sealed and marked "Proposal for Update of the 2014 Allegany County Comprehensive Plan" in the lower left-hand corner. Neither facsimile (FAX) copies nor electronic copies will be accepted. Interested Consultants are required to submit an original and three (3) copies of its proposal at the time of submission.

The County reserves the right to accept of reject any or all of the proposals, to negotiate with any or all responsible submitters and to waive any informality in the Request for Proposal.
