The initial contract term shall beone (1) year, with the possibility of up to four (4) one year term renewals, contingent upon mutualagreement by both parties. Mason reserves the right to make multiple awards under thissolicitation. The resulting contracts will be optional use contracts and Mason is not obligated tomake purchases from the A/E and may, at its discretion, procure identical or similar goods/servicesfrom other sources. The Agency does not guarantee that the selected firms will receive any projectorders.The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish A/E Term Contracts for professionalarchitectural and/or professional engineering services through competitive negotiations which willbe the basis for project orders issued during the contract term. Thetotal fees for all Project Orders issued during the initial contract term shall not exceed $2,000,000.If the University exercises its option to renew, any unused amount from a Contract Term shall notcarry forward to the next renewal Contract Term.SEE RFP FOR FULL REQUIREMENTS.
