RFP # 2317-01 A/E Services for Elevator Comprehensive Modernization at Ruth Barkley Development

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking services of a qualified consultant firm headed by a Registered Professional Engineer to provide design and construction administration services for Modernization of the eight Elevators, traction type at Ruth Barkley Development [106], located at 1472 Washington Street, Boston, Massachusetts.   The estimated project construction cost is $7,000,000.00, which excludes a construction contingency.  Complete details, qualification and submission requirements can be found in the RFP.

Three (3) copies of the complete proposal, along with one (1) electronic copy of their proposal on CD-R, or DVD-R media or on a non-returnable USB flash drive in a single file Adobe Acrobat PDF format must be submitted to the BHA, Purchasing Department, 56 Chauncy Street (Housing Service Center), Boston, MA 02111 by 2:00 PM on December 6, 2024.  A Pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be conducted on November 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Ruth Barkley Development, 1472 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02118.  Questions or requests for modifications regarding this RFP will be accepted in writing ONLY and must be submitted via email to bids@bostonhousing.org seven (7) calendar days before the deadline for receipt of proposals.  The BHA reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive any informalities if it be in the public interest to do so.
