RFI: Performers for the 2026 International Plaza Season

The IBERO American Development Corporation (IADC) is pleased to announce a Request for Interest (RFI) for musicians, bands, dance and cultural groups and other performance artists to be part of events and activities at the International Plaza, 828 North Clinton Ave., Rochester, NY 14605, during the 2026 season. Performances will be primarily on Sunday afternoons, May-October and on select other days.

The International Plaza is a colorful, exciting Latin-themed event and market space. It features a variety of vendors ranging from pop-up tents and carts to more permanent locations housed in retail kiosks, and serves as a community gathering space to celebrate Rochester’s tremendous cultural diversity and assets.

International Plaza events, mostly held on Sunday afternoons, often feature musical entertainment and other performance artists. Events with entertainment are also held on select other days throughout the season. IBERO is seeking, through this RFI, to identify new performers/artists from the community, to add to the diversity and cultural identity of the Plaza place and space.

RFI responses are due March 23, 2026, and should be emailed to Jason Barber at jbarber@iberodevelopment.org or delivered to 954 Clifford Ave., Rochester NY 14621, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Responses must include complete contact information, links to/attached files of performances, listing of recent venues and locations, and desired compensation range. Submissions may also include references or testimonials or other pertinent material.
