RFI-484-03012024P3 I-285 Express Lanes Request for Information

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing this request for information (RFI) to seek feedback from private-sector entities regarding the proposed procurement for the design, construction, financing, tolling, operation, maintenance and handback of the I-285 East Express Lanes Project, which includes approximately 30 miles of new express lanes in both directions along I-285 from Northside Drive to I-20 (East) and along a portion of SR 400. GDOT will use the feedback generated by this RFI to inform development of a procurement that best serves Georgia's interests and facilitates private sector participation in the delivery of the Project. This RFI is also intended to update the industry as to the next phases of GDOT's Major Mobility Investment Program, and to set out GDOT's objectives and proposed delivery approach for the Project.

GDOT encourages responses to this RFI from developers, contractors, operators and investors with an interest in participating in a future procurement for the Project; however any entity may submit a response.
