RFI C000921 - FUTURE COMPREHENSIVE FOREST LANDS MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

The New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS), on behalf of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), is seeking responses to this Request for Information (RFI) # C000921, from the vendor community, to help determine a future approach regarding the development, implementation, and maintenance of a new data system, to support key programs of the Division of Lands and Forests including tree planting related to the Governor’s initiative to plant 25 million trees by 2033 and open space conservation goals outlined in the 2024 State of the State address.

This RFI is for planning purposes only and is not a request for competitive bids nor a request for proposals. Responses to this RFI will not be used as part of a vendor selection process nor a request for proposals. Responses to this RFI will not be used as part of a vendor selection process nor will they result in the award of a contract for such services for any future bids. Any response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by DEC will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI or to DEC for use of such information. DEC will not be responsible for expenses incurred in preparing and submitting responses to this RFI. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation or eligibility in any future solicitation, if issued. Do not submit bids or proposals in response to this RFI. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE.
