Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project No. RFB-2025-12-4914 Shakwak Highway Project, BST Construction, km 1762 to km 1790, Alaska Highway #1, described herein, will be received until the closing date and time listed on Government of Yukon Bid Opportunities Website (

Description of work: The project includes restoration of highway surface and construction of a Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST) for approximately 17.9 kilometres at various locations of the Alaska Highway #1 from kilometre 1762 to kilometre 1790, approximately the Donjek River Bridge to the Koidern River #1 Bridge.
The works consists of but is not limited to: Loading, Hauling, Placing and Compacting Granular "A"; Restoring Roadway Surface; Supply of HF-250S Emulsified Asphalt; Construction of Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST); Restoring Existing W-Beam Guiderail; Traffic Control; and Environmental Compliance.
The project completion date is July 31, 2026.
