Instructions to Bidder – General Terms & Conditions

Purchase of Vaccines and Supplies for Animal Shelter/ RFB: 26-402-05-04

Please read your specifications thoroughly and be sure that the offered complies with all requirements. Any variation from the specifications will not be allowed.  If you are the successful bidder, it will be required that “ Purchase of Vaccines and Supplies for Animal Shelter” be provided as specified.

Sealed bids will be received for “ Purchase of Vaccines and Supplies for Animal Shelter” in accordance with the specifications attached hereto.

Summary of Work : The City of Mission is accepting bids for Purchase of Vaccines and Supplies for Animal Shelter.

Bid Submittal Deadline: Bid responses addressed to Mr. Edgar Chapa, Contracts Administrator, will be received until Monday, May 04, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST ) at which time they shall be publicly opened.  All bid responses are to be delivered to City of Mission Purchasing Department, 1201 East 8 ^th Street, Mission, Texas 78572 , on or before the aforementioned date and time. Bid responses shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as follows: RFB: 26-402-05-04 Purchase of Vaccines and Supplies for Animal Shelter .   No Facsimiles or late arrivals will be accepted.  Any RFB received after that time will not be opened and will be returned.  Overnight mail must also be properly labeled on the outside of express envelope or package in reference to RFB.

Pre-Bid Conference : A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted on Monday,April 27, 2026 at 09:00 am . The Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted at the Mission City Hall, Chambers Conference Room, 1201 E. 8 ^th St., Mission, TX 78572. It is Highly Recommended that you attend in person.

Solicitation documents will not be mailed, e-mailed, or provided in person. Once registered, you will also be added to the solicitation distribution list for changes and/or additions via Addenda form.
