RFB 2025-26-002 Onsite Veterinary Services

The City of Hesperia, hereinafter referred to as “City”, is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors, hereinafter referred to as “Bidder”, to provide veterinary services for all animals that become the property of, or are in the custody of, the City of Hesperia Animal Shelter.

The City requires the services of a veterinarian to provide spay/neuter surgeries, to oversee perioperative care, to diagnose and treat medical conditions of animals, to vaccinate and provide emergency treatment to animals, and to do other work as required.

The City Contact, hereinafter referred to as “Contact”, is the sole point of contact for this solicitation. All communication shall be in writing and submitted to the Contact. Bidders are not permitted to communicate with other City staff or officials about this RFB, except for during pre-bid meetings, demonstrations, and/or interviews, unless otherwise directed by the Contact.

Bidders interested in participating in this RFB should immediately provide the Contact with a phone number, and an e-mail address for dissemination of addenda and/or supplemental information, as applicable. Failure to provide said contact information may result in late notifications and/or incomplete bids.

Inquiries are due no later than November 3, 2025 at 5:00 PM. The City shall respond to inquiries no later than November 4, 2025. Inquires submitted after this deadline will not receive a response.

The deadline for submitting a bid is November 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud by the City.
