RFB 2025-04 NW 1st Avenue Water Main Improvements Project

PURPOSE
The City of Newberry, Florida Commissioners desire to receive bids from qualified Bidders for the improvement construction of NW 1st Avenue Water Main Improvements in Newberry, Florida.

The Work is generally described as furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services and performing all work necessary to provide the Owner with Construction of new and modified facilities are as shown on the Construction Drawings and/or Plans.

Construct a new 8-inch PVC water main, water services, fire hydrants and appurtenances as well as water main reconnections to the existing cross street water mains along NW 1st Avenue (proposed future westbound SR 26) from the intersection with NW. 249th Street west to the intersection with NW 260th Street and continuing along the railroad right-of-way west to the intersection of the proposed SR 26 improvements at the intersection of NW/SW 264th Street. Included in the project are two directional bores, one under State Road 45 and one under State Road 26 as well as one jack and bore under the existing railroad crossing NW 1st Avenue.

All work should be in accordance with the Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents.

RESPONSE DEADLINE
SEALED RESPONSES for 2025-04 NW 1st Avenue Water Main Improvements will be received electronically in Bid Express and on paper by the City Finance Department at the City Commission Room at 25440 West Newberry Road, Newberry, Florida 32669 up until, 2:00 PM ET (Eastern Time) on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened immediately following the deadline.
