Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for Steel Pole
Structures for delivery near Cooper Landing, Alaska.

Bids are due, uploaded to Chugach's website under the Bid Opportunities link, RFB 26-17: Steel Pole
Structures - Submit Technical Proposal button, no later than 4:00 PM, Alaska Time on Thursday,
June 25, 2026.
Questions related to this RFB are due no later than 4:00 PM Alaska Time, Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Bidders may submit questions via email to contracts@chugachelectric.com. Responses to questions will
be provided by 4:00 PM Alaska Time, Thursday, June 18, 2026.
The Bidder shall deliver all Steel Pole Structures near Cooper Landing, Alaska no earlier than
September 27, 2027, and no later than October 29, 2027.
The Steel Pole Structures supplied under the RFB is intended for use in an infrastructure project for
which the funding state agency requires compliance with Build America, Buy America Act ("BABA")
requirements, including applicable provisions of Sections 70901-70927 of the Infrastructure Investment
and Jobs Act (Pub. L. 117-58), 2 CFR Part 184 (to the extent applicable), and applicable state agency
requirements, guidance, directives, and implementing requirements.
Bidders shall specify in their response to this RFB in writing whether exceptions are taken to any of the
terms and conditions of the attached Sample Equipment Contract. Exceptions taken later may result in
rejection of the Bid.
Bids are to be valid for 60 days from the Bid due date.
Chugach reserves the right, in its sole and complete discretion, to define and/or waive irregularities, to
accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or part, and to reissue, withdraw or cancel the project in its
entirety for any reason, without incurring any liability of any type or nature to any Bidder or Contractor,
including but not limited to any costs associated with Bid preparation and submittal.
