Background and Scope Ventura County Waterworks District No. 16 (District) owns and operates the Piru Wastewater Treatment Plant (Piru WWTP, aka Plant). The Plant provides sanitary sewer treatment for the for the unincorporated historic town of Piru, located in East Ventura County. The Plant is currently completing a project upgrade (The Piru Treatment Plant Upgrade) to add tertiary treatment to desalinate the effluent produced, for meeting its State Discharge Requirements for Chloride and TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). This Request For Bid (RFB) is to perform and complete the landscape and irrigation work associated with the upgrade project. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools, and labor necessary and required for the complete landscape and irrigation installation for: The Piru Treatment Plant Upgrade (Project) In accordance with the Plans and Specifications, the work shall include but not be limited to: Landscaping improvements including trees, shrubs, groundcovers, rock cobble, topsoil, soil fertilizing, conduit and valve installations, backfill, conditioning materials and signage.
