Instructions to Bidder – General Terms & Conditions

Hot Mix Asphalt Type D (Limestone) / RFB: 25-484-05-28

Please read your specifications thoroughly and be sure that the offered complies with all requirements. Any variation from the specifications will not be allowed.  If you are the successful bidder, it will be required that “ Hot Mix Asphalt Type D (Limestone)” be provided as specified.

Sealed bids will be received for “ Hot Mix Asphalt Type D (Limestone)” in accordance with the specifications attached hereto.

Summary of Work : The City of Mission is accepting bids for Hot Mix Asphalt Type D (Limestone).

Bid Submittal Deadline: Bid responses addressed to Mr. Edgar Chapa, Contracts Administrator, will be received until Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST ) at which time they shall be publicly opened.  All bid responses are to be delivered to City of Mission Procurement Department, 1201 East 8 ^th Street, Mission, Texas 78572 , on or before the aforementioned date and time. Bid responses shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as follows: RFB: 25-484-05-28 Hot Mix Asphalt Type D (Limestone) .   No Facsimiles or late arrivals will be accepted.  Any RFB received after that time will not be opened and will be returned.  Overnight mail must also be properly labeled on the outside of express envelope or package in reference to RFB.

Pre-Bid Conference : A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted on Thursday,May 22 ^nd , 2025 at 10:00 am. The Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted in person at the Mission City Hall, Community Room, 1201 E. 8 ^th St., Mission, TX 78572. Zoom. Meeting ID: 220 547 6707Password: 9iYEY2. It is Highly Recommended that you attend in person or via zoom. .

All prospective respondents are encouraged to be in attendance. All Bidders are recommended to attend and sign in.

Solicitation documents will not be mailed, e-mailed, or provided in person. Once registered, you will also be added to the solicitation distribution list for changes and/or additions via Addenda form.
