RFB - 2025 Annual Striping Project

Engineer's Estimate: $45,000-$50,000

The City of Arcata (City) is soliciting bids for the 2025 Annual Striping Project. The WORK consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and performing all work required to restripe the pavement on Alliance Road between Foster and Spear Avenues, in Arcata, California.

The work includes, but is not limited to: removing current striping, striping bike lanes, road lanes, crosswalks and pavement markers, and traffic control, as outlined in Attachment A: Scope of Work.

Projected duration of this project is August 18 through October 10, 2025.

No formal pre-bid meeting is scheduled. Bidders are welcome and encouraged to visit the job site prior to bid submittal. Bidders may request a staff-hosted site walkthrough by contacting the City point of contact below.

Proposals will be received at the City Manager’s Office, 736 F Street, Arcata, California until 11 AM on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Proposals must be submitted within a sealed envelope labeled: “2025 Annual Striping Project.” All responses must be made on the Bid Proposal and Schedule provided in Attachment B to be considered for award.  The Request for Bids Package for this Work can be obtained on the City’s website, www.cityofarcata.org under “Bid.”

The City of Arcata has determined that prevailing wages apply to this Project. The selected contractor must register with the State Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 prior to award of a contract.
