RFB

The City of Destin is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) to secure proposals from qualified contractors for the completion of all site work associated with the construction, a concrete slab, structure and roof of the batting cage, flooring, and netting to include providing electrical power from existing electrical box and lighting as shown in the plans and specifications. The site work shall include repair of existing concrete, minor grading, irrigation modification, and sodding. The contractor must have the ability to obtain city permits required to complete this project. Other deliverables will include a foundation survey and a final as built survey and the maintenance/warranty paperwork. It is the bidder's responsibility to read and understand the requirements of this REQUEST FOR BIDS. Bidders are required to state exactly what they intend to furnish the City of Destin via this solicitation in order to be deemed responsive and must indicate any variances to the terms, conditions and specifications of this proposal, no matter how slight. If variations are not stated in the proposal, it shall be construed that the proposal fully complies with all conditions identified in this proposal. Before submitting a proposal, each bidder will, at bidder's own expenses, make or obtain any additional examinations, investigations and studies, and obtain any additional information and data that may affect costs, permitting, progress, performance of furnishing of the project and that the bidder's deems necessary to determine its proposal. Bidder will examine all documents included in this RFB carefully and shall make a written request to the City’s authorized representative ( cityclerk@cityofdestin.com ) for information, interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistently, or error herein. Any interpretation or correction will be issued by the City as an addendum to the RFB. Only a written interpretation or correction by addendum shall be binding. Bidders are cautioned against relying upon any interpretation or correction given by any other method. The submission of a proposal shall not be deemed an agreement between the bidder and the City. The proposal is a contractual offer by the bidder to perform services in accordance with the proposal. The City shall not be obligated to respond to any proposal submitted nor be bound in any manner by the submission of a proposal. The city of Destin does not accept electronic bids **
