Intent: Using data analytics to determine existing gaps and target zones in the Glenview retail market, the selected Consultant shall create a retail recruitment strategy to attract, recruit and retain regional and local businesses that match the market needs of Glenview. The selected Consultant shall continue to assist the Village with project implementation and maintenance of the retail recruitment strategy beyond 2024 by acting as the Village's Economic Development Coordinator. It is expected the number of projects would diminish to a maintenance level following the initial implementation of the retail recruitment strategy. The Consultant shall coordinate with the Village staff to prioritize the projects and completion dates of work by the Consultant.

Proposals may be obtained through DemandStar. Plans, specifications, and bid forms will be provided electronically.

Offers may not be withdrawn for one hundred and twenty (120) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees.

Any Bid submitted unsigned, via mail, via in person delivery, via fax, via email or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder.

The Village of Glenview reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in proposal procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village.
