Retail Pharmacy space

SUNY Upstate Medical University has the need for approximately 2,500 sq. ft. of contiguous space to operate a retail pharmacy within, or in close proximity, to one or more existing medical office buildings occupied by one or more physician practices with a combined total of at least fifty (50) physicians and advanced practice providers within a one-mile radius. The location of the space needs to be in zip code 13413,13502, or 13501.

Space must meet all applicable local building codes and New York State pharmacy standards – including sink with hot/cold running water in compounding area and toilet room for employees. Space must have Solid reinforced doors with magnetic door contacts, all window glass must have shatterproof or break resistant window film. Must have the ability to add pharmacy signage to the exterior of the building.

Hours of operations for the pharmacy would be 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Onsite parking for staff and customers (10-20 parking spaces) required, including easy access to site for customers. Dedicated Pharmacy pickup spaces in the parking lot, at least 2 parking spaces.

Occupancy will be required by Summer/Fall of 2025

Lease term would be for a minimum of five (5) years.

Proposal must include cost estimate to bring space up to required codes and standards.
