ADDENDUM #7 - BID NO. 20260346 – RESTROOM RENOVATIONS AT VARIOUS PARKS
BID OPENING DATE: 2:00 p.m. (EST) APRIL 8, 2026
Bidders are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The intent is to add to, modify, or
clarify the documents. Should any of these items have an effect on price, such changes shall be included in the price bid.
These items have the same force and effect as if contained in the original.
ITEM 1:
QUESTION/ANSWER
Q1. Please provide lavatory hanger specifications for G.C. Herring Park.
A1. All restroom fixtures are to meet manufacturer installation specifications, building codes, and ADA requirements.
Q2. At G.C. Herring Park, the existing light fixture is at or near the anchorage location. Please provide clear direction
to price this known conflict.
A2. Since floor to ceiling partitions is at or near the existing light fixture, wall mount and rail would be acceptable.
Q3. For door installations - Do you want hollow metal frames at new concrete masonry unit (CMU) wall framing to
accommodate revised door locations at Maracaibo Kidspace Park? By stating Therma-Tru frames are to be
provided in previous responses, can you verify you are referring to Adjusta-Fit 2 Frames?
A3. In referencing Therma-Tru frames in the responses, we are confirming that the intent is to utilize manufacturer-supplied
pre-hung frame systems as part of the specified door assemblies.
Technically, the door assemblies indicated in the contract documents are factory pre-hung units, meaning the door slab,
frame, hinges, and related components are supplied as a single integrated system. This ensures proper alignment, structural
integrity, and compliance with tested performance criteria.
These assemblies shall be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions as well as the
Florida Building Code (FBC) requirements, including adherence to the Florida Product Approval system. Installation must
follow the approved product evaluation (including anchorage, clearances, and substrate conditions) to maintain compliance
with wind load resistance, impact ratings (where applicable), and overall code performance.
Q4. Just to confirm, we are using all existing measurements for restroom partition stalls, including the current
noncompliant ADA stalls?
A4. We are not reconfiguring restrooms stalls at any location with this project. All stall dimensions will stay the same.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260346.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
