Restroom Grounds and Building Cleaning Services at the New York State Fairgrounds

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets (“AGM” or “the Department”) to invite qualified bidders (“Respondents”) to submit proposals for restroom, grounds, and building cleaning services at the New York State Fairgrounds.

The scope of work will be divided into two Lots. Vendors may bid on one or both Lots, however, the same vendor cannot win both Lots (See Section 4.2 of the IFB for “Determination of Bid Award”). Contract awards will be made to the two vendors which produce the lowest combined cost for both Lots as more specifically set forth in Section 4.2 of the IFB. The recipients of the contract awards from this IFB (“Vendor” or “Contractor”) shall provide these services for the 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 State Fairs.

The New York State Fairgrounds is located at 581 State Fair Boulevard, Syracuse (Town of Geddes, Onondaga County) New York (“Fairgrounds”). The property is a 375-acre site owned and operated by AGM which is home to the Great New York State Fair (“State Fair”).

The contract resulting from this IFB will commence on June 1, 2025 and end on October 31, 2028.
