Summary

The Residential Streets Improvement Project Monterrey & Baker – Group 19 consists of rehabilitating the roadway by removing and reconstructing asphalt concrete, sidewalks, driveway approaches, curb & gutters, preservation of survey monuments, installation of striping, pavement markings, and repainting curbs as well as the adjustments and replacement of Public Utilities (Water Valve Boxes, Sewer Manholes, Etc.), and all appurtenant work.

Background

Monterrey Neighborhood Area. Limits: Crescent Avenue to the north, Euclid Street to the east, Lincoln Avenue to the south, and Gilbert Street to the west. This neighborhood is in West Anaheim, District 2, and has a population of 4,533 residents (2022 Census) with 3,512 Housing Units.

Baker Neighborhood Area. Limits: Lincoln Avenue to the north, Gilbert Street to the east, Orange Avenue to the south, and Magnolia Avenue to the west. This neighborhood is in West Anaheim, District 2, and has a population of 3,706 residents (2022 Census) with 1,181 Housing Units.
