Residential Resurfacing Project - 2025

The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids for a street rehabilitation project consisting of curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, hot‐mix asphalt surface removal, hot-mix asphalt pavement removal, hot-mix asphalt pavement patching with sub-base repairs, sub-base improvement, bituminous tack coat placement, placement of hot-mix asphalt binder course, placement of hot-mix asphalt surface course, restoration with topsoil and seed, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project all in accordance with the Specifications and Contract Document 25-00083-00-RS: Residential Resurfacing Project - 2025.  Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details of this document.

Prior to receiving bid documents, all bidders must show prequalification with IDOT Category 05 “HMA Paving”.

All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. Bid plans and prequalification forms are available on the Village’s website www.elkgrove.org/bids. Once approved by the Village an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s). Obtaining Bid Documents: To obtain bid documents, please e-mail a copy of your current IDOT prequalification and the prequalification form found on the Village’s website to pwprequal@elkgrove.org. Once received and approved by the Village, an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s).

Bids will be received until 10:45 AM on Thursday, February 13, 2025 and opened at 11:00 AM, local time.The bid opening will be held at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.  All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above.  Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.
