Residential Inspection and Cost Estimating Services for Federal and State Funded Housing and Community Service Programs

Scope of Services: The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from qualified firms for Residential Inspection and Cost Estimation Service for Federal and State Funded Housing and Community Service Programs with multiple residential firms to determine the extent of rehabilitation needed for residential homes and to estimate the cost for each repair project as outline in the RFP. for the Community Services Department in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of services for the above-mentioned Request for Proposals (RFP).

Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through eProcurment Marketplace by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via eProcurement.

Licensing Requirements: The Proposer or Subcontractor of Proposer or key personnel of Proposer to perform the work must possess a valid Certified EPA Renovator's Certificate, State of Florida Certified General Contractor License or Certified Building Contractors License or other required licenses, certifications and/or accreditations to perform the work. Refer to the RFP Package, Section VI, Scope of Work for additional information.

The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax.
The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
Proposal will be accepted through a secure mailbox at eProcurement (https://deerfield-beach.ionwave.net/HomePage.aspx) until the Deadline for Submission as indicated in this RFP. Late Bids will not be accepted. The City will only accept electronic bids for this RFP.
