Residential and Business Survey

The Town of Herndon is seeking a qualified firm to develop, conduct, analyze, and present the results of two statistically valid surveys of 1) town residents and 2) commercial businesses, soliciting their opinions on a range of issues relevant to customer satisfaction with town services.

Individuals or firms interested in providing these services must have a demonstrated record of working with localities or other comparable entities in customer service surveys of this or a similar nature.

The town conducts periodic surveys to gauge resident and business owner satisfaction with its programs and services. The most recent surveys were conducted in FY 2023.

Accordingly, the town is seeking a Contractor to design, administer, and analyze a surv ey of a representative sample of the town’s diverse residential community. As a secondary project, the town is seeking a quote for a similar survey of town businesses. The first residential survey will be conducted in S pring 2026, and the first business owner survey may be conducted in Spring 2026 ; the exact timing is not determined. Offerors must include requested information for conduct of the residential and business surveys, as indicated throughout this Request for Proposals (RFP).
