Research Vessel Seth Green Mid-life Retrofit

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking bids from Contractors who have the ability to make modifications to the length and equipment of a Department owned Research Vessel. The vessel has a 45 feet 9 inch overall length, 17 feet breadth, and 55 long tons lightship displacement, referred to as R/V Seth Green, and is located in Cape Vincent. NY.

Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this RFP includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a Governmental Entity and a Bidder during the procurement process.

Bidders shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE (Appendix D).
