Pre-Solicitation Notice for the notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a
solicitation. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Research and Development
(R&D), Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a

AllerGard NU-622-400 Dual-Side Animal Transfer Station Nominal width: 4 ft (1.2 m) Console on locking casters Key Features: HEPA supply & exhaust 99.99% @ 0.3 micron High-velocity diffuser slots strengthen air barrier AeroMax controls with digital pressure display Quiet, energy-efficient EC motor system 16" reach opening for ergonomic access Lighter weight & reduced height for easier movement Red-light mode for nocturnal animal comfort Corner waste chute & angled cage slots 16-inch (357 mm) Access Opening, Hinged, Polycarbonate Viewing Window 115V, 15 Amp, NEMA 5-15P, Made in USA Outlet, Qty 1 Duplex, NEMA 5-15R, 3 Amp Max, 115V Folding Shelf, Qty, 1 Right Side Domestic Standard Warranty 36 Months Parts and Labor.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any responsible source
who can provide an equivalent service with the features described above, may submit a
capability statement to the contracting office no later than September 3, 2026, 2:00 PM,
MT. Interest/capability statements which specifically detail how your equipment meets the
requirement may be sent to Robert.Dobson1@va.gov. No telephone responses will be
accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses
to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
