Reroofing of Transit Buildings

Work for this Project is described as a Reroofing Project of two existing Transit Buildings - Building No. 1 = 8,202 sq/ft.+- and Building No. 2 = 3,470 sq/ft.+-. Roofing Contractor shall be instructed to submit bid pricing of these two buildings in two separate costs noted as Base Proposal A and Base Proposal B. Project consist of the removal of the existing roofing systems down to the existing metal decking & replace with new single-ply roofing systems and rigid insulation. Refer to plans and specs for complete outline of work. By submitting a bid, each bidder agrees to waive any claims it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect, and their respective employees and offices, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid; waiver of any requirements under the Bid Documents; or the Contract Documents; acceptance or rejection or any bids; and award of the Contract. By submitting a bid, each bidder agrees to exhaust its administrative remedies under Owner’s (Concho Valley Council of Governments) Policy or the Dispute Clause of any resulting contract before seeking judicial relief of any type in connection with any matter related to this solicitation, the award of any contract, and any dispute under any resulting contract.

A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on May 14, 2025 at 10:00AM at the Concho Valley Transit Facilities

located at 510 N. Chadbourne Street, San Angelo, Texas 76903. Attendance is strongly encouraged for all

potential respondents, as the meeting will provide an opportunity to ask questions, clarify requirements, and

gain a better understanding of the scope of the RFP. A coring of the existing roof will be performed during

the Pre-Proposal Meeting so that Contractors can see what is below the water shedding membrane and

how the sublayers are fastened. Results of the coring test will be issued in an addendum following the Pre-

Proposal Meeting.
