Invitation for Requests for Qualifications (RFQs)
The City of Lake Village, Arkansas, is pleased to invite qualified structural architects and engineering firms to submit Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) for its upcoming municipal and community development projects. This is an exciting opportunity for creative, experienced, and innovative professionals to shape the future of our growing city.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable growth, robust infrastructure, and supporting our community’s youth, the city is preparing to rehabilitate and expand an existing community center.
Qualified firms will be considered across a diverse range of scales and complexities. Our goal is to engage partners who demonstrate technical excellence, creative design approaches, and a commitment to sustainability and community needs.
Structural architects and engineering firms selected from this RFQ will provide a spectrum of services, including:
•        Conceptual and schematic design
•        Structural analysis and modeling
•        Preparation of construction documents
•        Construction administration and oversight
•        Compliance with local, state, and federal codes
•        Integration of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions
•        Community and stakeholder engagement
Firms should be prepared to work collaboratively with city departments, external consultants, and citizens throughout the project lifecycle.
Interested parties must demonstrate:
•        Licensure to practice architecture/engineering in the State of [Your State/Province]
•        Minimum of five (5) years of experience in structural design and project delivery
•        Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget
•        Portfolio of relevant completed works
•        Commitment to best practices in safety, sustainability, and accessibility
•        Ability to provide comprehensive project management, from conception through completion
Please include the following in your submission:
•        Cover letter expressing interest, signed by an authorized representative
•        Detailed firm profile, including history, size, and areas of specialization
•        Resumes of key personnel and their roles in previous projects
•        Portfolio highlighting relevant completed projects (with brief descriptions and images)
•        References from at least three (3) recent clients
•        Statement of approach to sustainability and community engagement
•        Proof of current licensure and insurance
Submissions should be clear, concise, and emphasize the firm’s unique strengths and qualifications.
All RFQs will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of city officials. Evaluation criteria will include:
•        Depth and relevance of experience
•        Quality and clarity of submitted materials
•        Demonstrated innovation and commitment to sustainability
•        References and client satisfaction
•        Capacity to meet project timelines and budgetary guidelines
Short-listed firms may be invited for interviews and presentations, where they can elaborate on their expertise and approach.
All interested firms must submit their RFQs by [Submission Date], 4:30 PM local time. Late submissions will not be considered.
