The City of Little Canada has issued a Request for Quote for banner design to enhance placemaking and branding along the city’s primary business corridor as part of a grant secured from Ramsey County Commercial Corridor Initiative program. Attached is the full RFQ.
Project Goals
-
Design and produce a banner design to enhance placemaking and branding along the primary business corridor

Engagement with local residents and business owners as part of the design process
-
Build brand awareness for Little Canada businesses by incorporating the existing City of Little Canada logo
-
Enhance inclusion efforts by honoring the diverse backgrounds in Little Canada, including our French-Canadian heritage and current businesses and resident demographics.
Project Deliverables
-
Partner with the city for corridor engagement with residents and businesses
-
Partner with the city staff to engage historically underrepresented residents

Designed banner for city consideration. The city will also require:

All raw graphic files including any design elements such as symbols, shapes, backgrounds etc.

Overall brand narrative for the banner (“the why”) behind the design

Font/typography used in banner design

Color palette used in banner design
