Request for Qualifications to provide Engineering Design Services, PI #0021221

The City of Conyers, GA is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide engineering design services for GDOT PI #0021221, a transportation alternatives project (TAP) providing community enhancement and connectivity via the construction of sidewalks along Green Street, beginning at the western city limits and extending to West Avenue, approximately 0.78 mile. More specifically, Green Street has sections of narrow sidewalks that do not meet ADA compliance. The intent of the project is to build new ADA compliant sidewalks where they do not currently exist and replace the sidewalks where they do exist that do not meet ADA compliance. Retaining walls and drainage upgrades along the length of the corridor will be needed as well as driveway apron replacements to allow for ADA compliance. This project will require utility relocation for utilities that conflict with the sidewalk and right of way acquisition to construct and maintain the sidewalk.
